Flight Nanny Services FAQs

A flight nanny service is a professional, cabin-based pet travel concierge who personally escorts your pet aboard a commercial airline.  Your companion travels safely in an airline-approved carrier, remaining under direct, attentive supervision for the entire journey. We provide discreet pet transport with a focus on safety, comfort, and calm travel.  From departure to arrival, your pet is treated with the same level of care and attentiveness you would provide yourself. 


 Once your reservation is secured with our flight nanny service, your assigned flight nanny will initiate a private group text including all designated parties. 

Two to three days prior to departure, you will receive: 

  • Confirmed flight itinerary 
  • Meeting details 
  • Estimated arrival timing 


On travel day, we provide real-time updates and photos for complete  transparency and peace of mind during your pet transport. Our goal is to  ensure you feel informed, reassured, and connected throughout the  entire journey with our pet travel concierge.


Our professional flight nanny service typically travels on standby to offer a more cost-effective solution for our valued clients. While we strive to honor your preferred travel dates, unforeseen circumstances such as inclement weather or oversold flights may occasionally affect scheduling. That said, our same-day delivery success rate for pet transport remains exceptionally high, and we are dedicated to ensuring your pet arrives safely and promptly, thanks to our reliable pet travel concierge. 


Absolutely. A confirmed revenue ticket guarantees travel for both your dedicated nanny and your pet when you choose our flight nanny service. Clients selecting this option are responsible for the airline ticket, airline pet fee, and delivery service fee associated with pet transport. Our logistics specialist will oversee every detail of the coordination process, ensuring a seamless, white-glove experience from departure to arrival, just like a pet travel concierge would. 


Yes. A valid health certificate issued by a licensed Doctor of Veterinary Medicine is required within 30 days of the scheduled delivery date when using a flight nanny service. This ensures compliance with airline regulations and prioritizes your pet’s well-being throughout their journey, whether you’re opting for pet transport or a pet travel concierge. 


Yes, you are welcome to track the flight in real time. Simply search the airline and flight number to monitor updates regarding departure time, terminal, and gate information, allowing you to stay informed every step of the way. Our flight nanny service ensures a smooth journey for your little ones, while our pet travel concierge can assist with all your pet transport needs. Plus, our Wi-Fi subscription allows us to remain in contact.  


A deposit is required at the time of booking your flight nanny service to secure your reservation, with the remaining balance due in cash at pickup. For pet transport scheduled within two weeks of the service date, full payment is required at booking. Please note that all transactions are subject to a 5% processing fee. Deposits are non-refundable under any circumstances; however, we are pleased to accommodate one rescheduled delivery date when needed through our pet travel concierge services.  


Departure: The sender (breeder/owner) will meet the nanny curbside at the airline’s departure terminal as part of our flight nanny service. A secure area with surveillance will be chosen for security and documentation purposes related to the pet transport. Arrival: The receiving party will meet the nanny at baggage claim of the arrival terminal, ensuring a smooth transition in the pet travel concierge process. Final meeting instructions will be shared in your confirmation message prior to travel. 


Space is limited for your pet transport, so any items traveling with your pet must fit inside a small backpack and comply with TSA guidelines. We recommend: a small, sealed bag of dry food, a favorite small toy, and a small blanket with a familiar scent. No eating at least 2-3 hours prior to pick up. A travel carrier will be provided unless otherwise arranged as part of our flight nanny service, ensuring a smooth experience with our pet travel concierge.
